Billy, I hope the leg holds out and allows you to wet a line. Derek is right about the number of fish in the river and I keep hearing of (other!) people's success. I've been away at the Midland Game Faior all weekend and have a mad week this week so goodness knows when I'll get to the river.

Bought a mink trap for the Club while at the Fair so that ought to help with Parr survival.

had a couple of hours on beat one this morning leg held up ok  ,one breif take  ,still iit was nice  to get out 

back on the river tuesday for a full day [if the leg holds out] would love some company if your around come say hello

I'm back in the loop a bit more at the mo!

Great to hear you are on the mend - be careful not to push it though, although I had 2 steel rods put in my back when I was 23 and I was up and about the next day - doc put the quick recovery down to activity - so all I can say is 'if it feels OK - go for it'.

Anyway - down to Salmon, I cant touch one this year - getting WPO - not really had the opportunity to get down much but when I do I fish it real hard BUT apart from a chub half the sixe of me left leg the Salmon aint having it!

Well last weekend to go - here's hoping LOL
