We'd like to thank Andy, Brian, Darrin, Erwan and Felipe for their help and hard work on the latest work party. We have reclaimed a lot of water from the willows and now have a really nice beat to fish.
We'd also like to thank Andy, Brian, Ewan, Mike, Erwan, Nigel and Darrin for their help on the previous work party.
Their names will be added to the draw for free membership at the next AGM for each time they have attended.

river closure
just to keep everyone up to date we are monitoring the river temperature on a daily basis and as soon as the temperature drops to a suitable level we will re-open and let everyone know the river is back open for fishing
New baliffs
We are looking to recruit additional Volunteer Bailiffs to help look after our waters. These are unpaid roles, and full training will be provided by the Angling Trust. If you're interested in supporting the club and protecting our fisheries, please get in touch via our website.
Closure of waters
. Following careful consideration, the Committee have decided to close all waters until further notice. This decision has been reached because of the very hot weather and the consequent impact fishing might have on fish welfare.
The Committee appreciate this may come as disappointing news to members, particularly those who have joined us very recently. However, we feel it is the right thing to do in the circumstances.
The re-opening of waters is something we will be keeping under daily review and we thank you in anticipation of your support.
The online booking system for our Groves Farm beat has been disabled in light of this decision.
Water temperature
Due to the recent warm weather and the high water temperatures the committee have taken the decision to suspend day ticket sales for the next 7 days to protect the fish stocks in the river
