Sutton Green was added to the BODSA portfolio in 2014 and is a real gem. The beat offers exceptionally good fly water. For the exponent of the double handed rod almost the entire beat can be waded and fished, providing some of the best fly fishing water on the lower/middle Welsh Dee. With long, easily waded stretches of water available this beat provides exceptional fishing for anglers of all abilities and ages. There are very productive deep pools that can still be fished with the fly and also long runs containing many gravel bars - stunning fly water, now with its own small car park.
